Testing & Quality Control

We use different testing and inspection methods to find problems before shipment.  Additional testing can be reviewed according to your product and test requirements.

  • Visual Inspection: Checks the overall assembly quality, including solder joints, component placement, and visible defects.
  • In-Line AOI: Checks solder paste, small components such as 0201 parts, missing components, component position, and polarity.
  • 3D BGA X-Ray Inspection: Checks hidden solder joints under BGA and QFN components to find voids, bridges, open joints, and other defects.
  • Flying Probe Testing: Checks the electrical connections on the assembled PCB to find open circuits, short circuits, and incorrect component values.
  • Functional Testing: Tests the assembled PCB based on your test procedures.

If your PCB assembly requirements fall outside the capabilities listed above, please contact HXD and send your design files for an engineering review.
